How much is a ticket?
Standard tickets are £55 per person, plus a £4 booking fee – giving a total price of £59 per person. Bookings are also subject to a £5 Special Delivery fee.
Where can I book tickets?
From Friday March 1st you can book tickets online at www.altontowers.com/alton-towers-live
I have a Merlin Annual Pass, do I get a discount?
We have a limited number of Merlin Annual Pass discounted tickets – at £40 they give just access to the concert arena, you can use your Merlin Annual Pass to enter the Theme Park. These tickets can be purchased online at www.altontowers.com/alton-towers-live from Friday 1st March. You need to have a valid Merlin Annual Pass at the time of booking and visiting to receive this discounted price. As a Merlin Annual Pass holder you collect your concert ticket on the day.
I have a Premium Merlin Annual Pass – doesn’t this mean I have no restrictions?
There are no restrictions at Alton Towers Resort Theme Park in the main season and this date is no exception. You can use your Merlin Annual Pass to enter the Theme Park on this date. The concert arena is separate to the Theme Park.
I don’t want to go to the concert, but want to visit the Theme Park on this date
That’s fine – The Theme Park is open as usual at 10am on July 6th. Some areas will however close from 1pm to allow us to prepare the concert arena.
Can I use 2-4-1 tickets?2-4-1 tickets and online discount tickets cannot be used in conjunction with the combined concert ticket. Please note – sections of the Theme Park may close earlier than usual to accommodate for the concert arena
Is there a Golden Circle?
There are limited numbers of tickets available in the Golden Circle, however these cannot be booked directly through altontowers.com – please see http://www.aeglive.co.uk/
What time does it start?
You can enter the Theme Park from 10am to experience Theme Park rides and attractions. The concert arena opens from 2pm, with the first artist appearing at approximately 2.30pm.
What time does it end?
We estimate Olly Murs to perform from 9.15pm- 10.15pm, with the arena closing immediately following this. Last admission is at 8.45pm.
Where is the concert?
The concert is to be held on the front lawns in front of the lake, at the bottom of Towers Street. At around 1pm this area will be cleared of all guests and re-opened at 2pm to Concert guests. You must show your Theme Park ticket to enter the Theme Park and your concert ticket to enter the arena. Car Parking is charged at £6 per car and a Drop off / Pick up area will be signposted.
I have a disability – is there a disabled viewing platform?
There will be very limited spaces on the disabled viewing platform which will be filled on the day on a first come, first served basis. We cannot reserve spaces under any circumstances. As a disabled guest you can book a disabled ticket with a free carer ticket on 0871 663 1677, this ticket does not however give any priority access.
Is there an age limit?
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. The concert arena is not recommended for babies. There are no concessions for children.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be dispatched around 2 weeks before the event by Special Delivery.
How can I change my details after I have ordered my tickets?
Unfortunately there is no option to change your delivery address, please ensure you correctly enter your delivery details when booking tickets.
