Domino's Pizza have more fun at Alton Towers Resort
Domino's Pizza is the world's leading pizza delivery company. Their culture is best summed up with their motto "Sell more pizza, have more fun!" which is why they chose to hold their company's most important event of the year at Alton Towers. ‘2007 Licence to Sell' was a two day pizza-fest, a joint educational and social event designed to celebrate excellence. Caron and Fiona Wallace, Directors of Red Events Worldwide were tasked with pulling this event together and to find a venue that could accommodate 1,000 guests, a franchise meeting for 250, a managers' conference and pizza making competition for 600 using arena style seating with central stage, a vendor show for 600 and a spectacular awards dinner for 1,000.
"Finding a venue that can cater for 1,000 and accommodate these numbers within one hotel is very challenging within the UK. We decided to find a venue with enough accommodation and with space for a marquee to hold the awards dinner. Alton Towers was the ideal setting" explains Fiona Wallace.
The highlight of the event was the James Bond themed awards dinner which made a fantastic finale for the two day event.
