Mutiny Bay

A fantastical Pirate themed experience across the Alton Towers Resort, packed with marvellous rides for all the family, Mutiny Bay can also be experienced in the Splash Landings Hotel with its brace of fantastically themed pirate rooms.

Throughout the day at the Theme Park, you'll gasp in amazement at the fabulous yarns of our pirate captain and his trusted band of buccaneers in The Pirate of Sharkbait Reef.

Battle Galleons

Embark on a mission aboard the Battle Galleons, as they sail amidst shark infested waters to the pirate cove. A marvellous spectacle for land lubbers and pirate crew, Battle Galleons is an interactive water ride which swashes the buckle for all ages.

You must be at least 0.9m to ride. If you are under 1.1m you must ride with an adult (18+).

Marauder's Mayhem

Swirl and twirl with the gunpowder barrels which make up Marauder's Mayhem and beware the actions of your crew mates who can make the barrel spin faster.

You must be at least 0.9m to ride. If you are under 1.1m you must ride with an adult (18+).

Heave Ho!

For smaller explorers, ride aboard the rocking Heave Ho tug boat - it's perfect for little pirates.

The Pirate of Sharkbait Reef Family Show

15 minutes - Mutiny Bay Courtyard

When a poor, innocent heroine called Emily is held hostage, it is up to the loveable deck washer Billy to rescue her! But with a vicious pirate as her captor, Billy soon realises that the danger may be greater than he bargained for! Will Emily become Shark Bait? Or will our hero win the girl? We invite you to find out in this swashbuckling adventure.
