Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE
If you do visit Alton Towers theme park, remember to check out the alternative activities amongst the rides. In the heart of the theme park’s Mutiny Bay is our very own nature reserve: an interactive, tropical aquarium. Kids of all ages love the chance to get up close with colourful sea creatures and exotic fish. Entry to the SEALIFE aquarium is included within a theme park ticket (and it’s a very popular destination to shelter from the rain!).
Alton Towers Dungeons
As part of a theme park day out, why not visit the Alton Towers Dungeon? This hilarious historical live show includes gruesome scenes and loud screams. Learn anecdotes from Staffordshire’s history and get up close with ghosts from the past. Alton Towers latest dungeon attraction is suitable for children aged 10 and up, and grown ups with a strong stomach!
Tour the Historic Grounds
During the winter months, when the theme park is closed for the season, guests love the opportunity to take a guided tour of our gardens. Alton Towers park gardens have stood on the site for over two hundred years. Garden tours provide an insight into the Grade I listed grounds, allowing you to admire your surroundings and to slip back in time.
