Alton Towers Fireworks

Every year, we welcome families and thrill seekers of all ages to our spectacular fireworks.

Our fireworks event has always been popular with locals from Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire; but we’re fast becoming known as one of the best fireworks displays in the UK!

Hosted on the closest weekend in November, our Bonfire Night fireworks events span three whole days! Be sure to book in advance to avoid missing out.

Remember, remember, this sensational event will be your last chance to experience our record-breaking rides and attractions before our 2019 theme park season comes to an end.

What’s more, as the theme park stays open late for the fireworks display, you can even ride in the dark!

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does the Alton Towers fireworks display start?

The fireworks display starts each evening at 7pm and lasts for approximately 25 minutes. We recommend guests to find themselves a comfortable viewing spot by 6.45pm, ready for the fireworks to begin.

Where is best to view the Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular?

Our fireworks light up the Staffordshire sky over the iconic listed building at the heart of Alton Towers Resort. Therefore, the best view is from the front lawns, looking towards the Towers. Be sure to arrive early to find a good viewing space!

Are the Ultimate Fireworks included in an Alton Towers theme park ticket?

Yes. If you book a standard entry theme park ticket on the dates of our fireworks events, the display is included. Guests will have access to the resort from 10am until 9pm.

What time are rides open until during the Alton Towers fireworks?

During our fireworks night celebrations, the theme park will be open until 9pm. This includes CBeebies Land and the Alton Towers Dungeon, which will both stay open until 9pm.

Please note that some rides will close just before the fireworks display and reopen when the display finishes.

Can I use my Season Pass for the Ultimate Fireworks event?

Season Pass holders must pre-book tickets to guarantee entry to our popular fireworks festival.  Season Passholder tickets cost just £10, for a spectacular evening of fireworks after an extended day at the UK’s biggest theme park!
