Bring your students along to this fantastic opportunity. Students experience how to build a LEGO fairground, program their design to bring it to life and then experience it all for themselves in our fantastical theme park!

Just £9.50 per primary student and £14 per secondary student

Join us and JuniorSTEM and give your students the chance to see how we use computers to control our rollercoasters. How do we control TH13TEEN’s track? What happens to make fire come out of Wicker Man? Find out in this hands on workshop. Learn all about the role computer systems and sensors play in regulating our famous rollercoasters.

Your students build their own structure then get the opportunity to program their design using an app. Create and use algorithms to control the start and stop of the ride, as well as the speed. Finally your students have the opportunity to upgrade and improve their design with their own creative ideas.

60 minute sessions are available at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm.

Suitable for KS2 and KS3 students

Free teacher ratio: Primary schools 1:5, Secondary schools 1:10
