Restaurant Reservations

To help us keep everyone safe during your stay, we’re asking all guests to pre-book their restaurant reservations. We politely ask that you book breakfast in the Hotel you are staying in (for example, if you are staying in Splash Landings Hotel please book your breakfast at Flambos restaurant). You are welcome to make dinner reservations at any of our restaurants from the below.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Alton Towers Resort for your fantastical escape!

During your stay, some of our usual offerings may be slightly different or unavailable due to Government guidance in response to Covid-19. We’re certain you’ll still have a fantabulous time! Please see the information boards in your Hotel or ask a member of staff on arrival for more information on our offerings during your break.

Get to the fun faster! We’re excited to offer our Hotel guests an exclusive entrance to the Theme Park by Galactica, just a short walk from Splash Landings Hotel.

Accommodation FAQs

On arrival at the Resort, all members of your party (aged 3 and over) will be required to participate in a temperature check before proceeding to Check In.  You are welcome to arrive at a time that’s convenient for you, but we do ask that only one member of each party attends the Check In desk.

New measures have been introduced in our Hotel receptions and other communal areas for your safety, and that of our employees.  Spatial markers are set out on the floor, and our employees will serve you from behind hygiene screens or be wearing protective clothing.

Your room will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival, although you can check in and collect your key earlier.  Unfortunately, we are currently unable to store your luggage until your room is ready.

Please rest assured that your room will undergo a deep clean prior to your arrival, which includes enhanced sanitisation of frequent touch points like door handles, television remote controls and kettles.

We have removed as many touchpoints as possible from the hotel rooms, including loose items like Do Not Disturb signs, cushions and throws.  Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided, and any unused disposable milk and drinks sachets will be thrown away between guests.

Frequent touchpoints in the communal areas of the hotel will also undergo enhanced sanitisation frequently throughout the day, including counters, door handles and lift panels.

If you are staying with us for more than one night, your room will not be serviced during your stay unless specifically requested.  This is to limit the number of people entering your bedroom whilst you are staying.

If you do request for your room to be serviced, this will be done at a time that’s convenient when you’re not in the room.  Additional items, for example towels, can be delivered to your room on request.

We are encouraging guests to wear face coverings where possible when visiting our attraction. This is not mandatory, but something we would encourage our guests to do to help protect themselves and each other.  This advice is in line with industry guidelines and the current UK Government regulations https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus, which we are monitoring closely.

Face coverings are not required for children under the age of 11 or for people with certain health conditions and/or disabilities.

Our hotels will reopen with significantly reduced capacities, so there will be significantly fewer people staying at any one time.  This is to make sure that we can maintain safe distances between households in our communal areas, and at mealtimes, and to help you have a safe, enjoyable escape with us.

Resort Activities FAQs

Yes, guests can play with members of their group, and our team will ensure that only one group is playing on each hole at any one time.  Our employees will work behind a hygiene screen and will be wiping down all the balls and clubs between use.

Unfortunately, we are not able to reopen Tree Top Quest at the moment.  Any further updates will be posted on our website.

Temperature Checking FAQs

Unfortunately, if you or a member of your family, has a temperature above 37.8 °C you will not be able to go ahead with your short break on that day.  Please rest assured that, should you find yourself in this situation, we will be happy to move your booking, including all tickets, at no additional cost to another date of your choice (excluding special event days).

We hope you understand that we are taking a very careful and cautious approach to reopening, in line with the latest Government and public health guidance in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. The health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is always our number one priority.

If you are unable to go ahead with your theme park visit on the day you had booked, we will be happy to extend the date of your tickets for a further twelve months.  This means you and your party can return to the Theme Park on any day it’s open in the next year for a truly fantastical escape (excluding special event days).

We hope you understand that we are taking a very careful and cautious approach to reopening, in line with the latest Government and public health guidance in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. The health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is always our number one priority.

Our primary focus is to minimise the risk of exposing guests and employees to coronavirus, so we are asking all our guests and employees not travel to the resort if they feel unwell, have a temperature or a cough.  In this event we will gladly rebook your visit when convenient and at no additional cost; we do not expect anyone to be penalised for doing the right thing.

If you find yourself in this situation, please contact gs.feedback@alton-towers.com with your booking details, and our team will help you rearrange your visit.
