For our younger guests, you can meet some of your favourite CBeebies friends in the UK’s only CBeebies Land, a wonderful place for children to explore, learn, play and inspire their imaginations. Climb, slide and bounce your way through Hey Duggee’s Big Adventure Badge, immerse yourself in prehistoric sights in Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig or blast off on the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure with Captain Barnacles and his crew! Alton Towers Resort has an extensive team of engineers who keep our rides and attractions running safely. They are highly trained in all mechanical and electrical ride systems.

Did you know...

• Alton Towers continues to work with ride manufacturers throughout a ride's life cycle.
• All of our rollercoasters are controlled by sophisticated systems that monitor the safe operation of rides at all times.
• These systems will automatically shut a ride down if any inconsistencies are detected. Anything from rain water to leaves can obstruct the sensors and cause a ride to stop.
• All of our rides must pass regular inspections by independent, third party experts.
