We’re ramping up the summer vibes on the Theme Park with brand-new thrilliant live entertainment. Dance like no one’s watching and enjoy the Towers Street Summer Party, with high energy singing and dancing. Take some time out during the day and join in the Alton Towers Festival on the Front Lawns, with dazzling dance routines, extraordinary vocals, and a superstar DJ set from Alton Bear.  

Those making the most of the summer nights with us on an overnight stay will also be able enjoy new late-night openings in the Waterpark until 10pm. We are also putting the EXTRA in Extraordinary Golf with extended opening hours, meaning you can ‘putt’ more in your overnight itinerary than ever before! Find out more here 

The arrival of the new haunting dark ride, The Curse at Alton Manor, is also set to take guests on a hair-raising journey through the spectacular twists and turns within the cursed Manor. Guests can visit the abandoned Alton Manor and uncover the story of Emily Alton as she just wants to play. Left alone in the attic, with nothing but her doll’s house Emily becomes lonely and forgotten. With nothing but the sound of music and laughter of the parties hosted by her parents, her hatred grew, fuelled by frustration and bitterness. Dark forces surround Emily, becoming a vessel for the evil that has seeped into every corner of the Manor.

When visiting the Resort, you will also be able to access features in the Resort App that will help you navigate and keep up to date with the park’s latest information. Recent updates on the App now mean you can also see waiting times and information about our Monorail, Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE and our Gardens. And, whilst we don’t ever expect there to be a queue to enjoy our amazing historical Listed gardens, the new feature will allow us to easily notify guests when they are open and closed during our events or in the event of adverse weather.  

Our latest Theme Park development and feature have also been added to the App map, including the location of two brand new Guest Service Hubs to help with any enquiries during the day. Our dedicated Guest Excellence team will be on-hand to personally assist you with a whole host of queries to ensure a seam-free day no matter what crops up! We’ve also invested in 7 new water fountains to help you stay hydrated as you enjoy fun in the sun wherever you are on park.

As we head into the summer month’s we are delighted to share with you that TripAdvisor recently announced Alton Towers Resort as being rated by visitors in the top 1 of ‘Things to do” worldwide! It has earned the Resort a 2023 Travellers’ Choice ‘Best of the Best’ Award. Furthermore, our Stargazing Pods accommodation and CBeebies Land Hotel also received outstanding accolades following top reviews from guests!
