Corkscrew - The rollercoaster that put Alton Towers Resort on the map
If you are a fan of Alton Towers Resort, then no doubt you will know about the iconic Corkscrew rollercoaster. Opening in 1980, Corkscrew was a landmark investment for the park, and one which literally doubled attendance in a couple of years due to its popularity.
