Night rides = unlocked for Alton After Dark 

Kickstart the season with Alton After Dark, where the theme park will keep its gates open until 8pm on select Saturdays in March (16th, 23rd, and 30th). Brave the darkness and experience world-class rollercoasters like Wicker Man, The Smiler, and Oblivion under the stars!

Live your best life – NEW VIP packages!  

Indulge in the ultimate VIP experience with a brand-new exclusive VIP day out. Choose from a variety of different packages, which are designed to offer guests a truly unforgettable experience. VIP packages include theme park entry, express car parking, fastracks, exclusive merchandise and so much more. 

Take the track less travelled – NEW Track Walks! 

For the ultimate adventure, unleash your inner thrill seeker with track walks on two of our world-class rollercoasters. Walk to the top of Oblivion's 180-foot drop or experience Wicker Man with breathtaking 360-degree views. Join the chosen few on these unforgettable journeys to conquer new heights.

The return of a legend… 

For those seeking a journey through time and mystery, then get ready because Hex – The Legend of the Towers will re-open its doors for 2024. Immerse yourself in the history of the iconic Towers and unearth the ancient curse of the Chained Oak. This bewitching experience promises to blend enchantment and nostalgia for the ultimate spellbinding journey.  

Events galore, better than before!  

Our sensational season wouldn’t be complete without a stellar line-up of returning fan-favourite events.  

• Oktoberfest (7th – 29th September)  

Join us for the return of the family-friendly Oktoberfest! Experience the Bavarian-themed transformation with Lederhosen-clad hosts, lively entertainment, delicious German cuisine, and the opportunity to enjoy world-class rollercoasters. 

• Scarefest (11th October – 3rd November)  

Brace yourself for spooktacular fun during Scarefest! Explore new spooks, scares, and live entertainment throughout the Resort until 9 pm, plus experience hair-raising rides and attractions in the dark. Monster Ball at CBeebies Land is back for brave youngsters…but will you dare to scare?  

• Fireworks (8th – 10th November)  

Don't miss the UK's most fantastic fireworks spectacular! With new special effects, this dazzling display will light up the night sky to epic music and live action storytelling. It's your final chance to ride world-class rollercoasters in the dark and finish the season with a bang!

• Christmas (22nd November – 31st December) 

Create magical memories this Christmas as the Resort is transformed into the ultimate Christmassy escape. Enjoy festive celebrations and seasonal sensations.

Stay and play with some of your favourite characters!  

For overnight stays during weekends and school holidays in the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings Hotel, you can meet some of the Resort’s favourite characters, including during breakfast which is new for 2024.

Say ‘Hello!’ to new friends – Meet Alton Bear and new Street Theatre 

Get ready to welcome the Resort’s latest addition set to bring joy and laughter throughout the park, Alton Bear! Surprise appearances and interactive moments make Alton Bear a much-loved character for all. Additionally, enjoy street theatre transformations in several areas of the theme park, including the pirates of Mutiny Bay. 

Celebrate 10 years of the UK’s only CBeebies Land  

Alton Towers Resort will also be celebrating 10 years of the UK’s only CBeebies Land, and to mark this significant milestone, the Resort is preparing to unveil brand-new and exciting additions for the 2024 season, which will be revealed in the coming weeks!
